THE CORPORATE STRUCTURE/BODY OF GOVERNANCE
The Pentecostal Life Church International shall be a corporate body registered under the laws of Ghana. This body or organization shall have a corporate structure of governance, as follows: The General Council, Executive Council, Ministerial Committee, District Board and the Local Board.
6.1 THE GENERAL COUNCIL
There shall be a General Council of the Church which shall comprise all ordained and licensed ministers of the Church, three approved Church leaders from each district, heads of ministries, movements,departments, fellowships,Retired ministers and other persons may be invited but without voting rights.
6.1.1 DUTIES OF THE GENERAL COUNCIL
(a) They shall be the governing body, the highest decision and policy making body of the Church.
(b) It shall be the sole organ of the Church to elect the General Superintendent, the General Secretary, National Missions Director and the rest of the Executive Council Members.
(c) It shall be the final organized body in all matters of disciplinary actions affecting its members, for this reason the General Council may appoint an appellate Committee.
(d) Should the Executive Council fail to indict or impeach any member of the General Council on the issues of misconduct, the General Council shall have the powers to do that.
(e) It shall receive and approve all reports submitted by the various movements, ministries, departments and fellowships of the Church.
6.1.2. MEETINGS OF THE GENERAL COUNCIL
Meetings of the General Council shall be held once every year, However in the course of the year the General Superintendent may call for an emergency Council meeting.
